[edit] Information
A compilation of strange contraptions and devices from the 1930's through the 50's, this documentary features some of the thousands of inventions that did things people never thought needed doing, or in ways they never considered doing them. A respectful, yet humorous tribute to the inventors whose vision, however far-reaching, was just a little off the mark. Directed by Howard Smith, who won an Oscar for his 1972 documentary "Marjoe" and who later went on to work with George Romero on the 1978 "Dawn of the Dead."
